<aside> 💡 Local or larger scale non-profits are the best way for Health4Her chapters to make a direct impact. By making sure these organizations accept donations, all you have to do is collect the items they’d accept through a donation drive, and send them over.

Non-profits often list exactly what they’re looking for, and how to send items to them. For example, The Greater Diaper Bank of DC lists all their available locations for collection (here), what items to donate (here), and even ideas on how to host a drive for them (here). In this case, you’re good, and can get started on your drive given this information.
If this information is unclear, it’s super quick to shoot over a quick email with any questions on specifics! Here’s an example email template you can use:
*Hello!
I hope this email finds you well. My name is [insert name], and I’m with Health4Her, an organization that aims to bridge gaps in women’s health through donation and advocacy efforts. We were wondering if [insert organization name] was accepting donation, and if so, are there any specifics regarding items, donation drop-off, etc? We really resonate with your mission as it aligns with ours, and would love to host a drive within our community to contribute any needed items to the cause. Thank you so much for your time, I look forward to hearing back.
Best regards, [Insert full name] Health4Her*
p.s. you can also call them if they have a publicly listed phone number, this is often much faster!
