Some of the best locations to set up these boxes include:

You will always need permission prior to setting up boxes, and this is best received by simply calling the respective space, or sending an email. Here’s an email template you can use when reaching out to these spaces:

To whomever this may concern,

Hello! I hope this email finds you well. My name is [insert name] and I am reaching out on behalf of our organization Health4Her.

We are an organization that is motivated to cultivate a community in which all women have access to proper healthcare, support, and products.

In order to carry out this goal, we are looking for establishments or places to put donation boxes in, in order to host drives. Each box will feature a flyer with items we accept and the organization they’re going to, and once the items are collected, they will be sent to the respective organization. We were wondering if we would be able to put a donation box in your establishment for up to 2 weeks at a time. We would take care of prepping a donation box and the informational sheet that goes with it.

Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or concerns!

Thank you for your time and we look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you!

Sincerely,

[insert name]

Health4Her

p.s. the most difficult part of this process is not setting up the boxes, but rather optimizing the number of donations, people have to know these boxes exist and that they can donate! If you can, ask the organization if they can advertise, and of course, maximize your advertising efforts for drives as well!
