What is Health4Her?

Chapter Overview

Make a difference for women’s health: Start a H4H chapter

H4H chapters are the heart of our fight against women’s health disparities. Each chapter brings together passionate individuals, from small school clubs to large state-wide groups. No matter the size, every chapter plays a vital role.

What is a chapter?

Think of a chapter as a local team dedicated to supporting Health 4 Her’s mission. Unlike one-time projects, chapters build lasting connections. They work closely with volunteers, donors, and local hospitals to create a continuous, positive impact.

Why chapters matter

By joining a chapter, you'll connect with others who share your passion for helping women’s health. Together, you'll raise funds, spread awareness, and bring hope to those facing this difficult journey.

Your Role in a Chapter

What exactly a chapter does

Health4Her’s main initiative is fostering partnerships with local organizations (women’s shelters, hospitals, etc.) and serving as pillars for their cause, which often comes in the form of mass donations.

To do so, much of your chapter’s role is in:

Chapter set-up

  1. Fill out our chapter application to become an approved/registered chapter

  2. Pitch the Health4Her chapter to your school (i.e. register as a club, organization, etc.)

    1. If you are associated with another institution (ex: a Church), try and establish some sort of formal footing for the chapter - getting the “green light” if you will. Institutional ties really help with recruiting members, so this is key.
    2. If you are not associated with an institution at all, skip this step
  3. Schedule an interview with our team! We will email you availabilities shortly after you fill out the application, so be on the lookout!

  4. Appoint chapter officers

  7. Recruit members and local partners!

⭐️ Why should I start a chapter?

  1. Contribute to a national movement bridging gaps in women’s healthcare
  2. Create easy access to essential women’s health services
  3. Improve leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  4. Work alongside passionate team of diverse individuals across the country
  5. Earn service hours, lead others in doing the same
